A Ministry of: St.Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church
St.Paul's CDS is committed to sharing the love of Jesus Christ with children, their families, and the community through a quality Early Childhood/Elementary Education program that is developmentally appropriate and fun, in a loving, caring, nurturing Christian environment. The Day School focuses on the whole child. Nurturing the spiritual, emotional, social, intellectual, and physical growth of children leads each child to develop to his/her potential. A solid partnership between home, school, and church; working together as a team in the Spirit of Jesus Christ, results in the success of the children.

|
| CHILDREN LEARN BY DOING: The curriculum includes hands on activities in Bible, art, music, fine motor, gross motor, computer and Spanish, according to the developmental level of the child. | | CHILDREN LEARN WHEN THEY ARE READY: The Christian Day School firmly beleives that childhood is a journey, not a race; and thus, staff are attentive to the uniqueness of each child and teach on a basis of oneto one when best. Large and small group activities are also incorporated into the program. | | CHILDREN LEARN THROUGH REAL EXPERIENCES: The Day School children learn by using REAL things to touch, smell, taste, see and hear. People, nature, field trips, and many objects are used so that they may learn through the senses. | | CHILDREN LEARN THROUGH SOCIALIZATION: Individual attention given to each child by talking , playing, hugging, holding, and comforting in loving, caring ways helps children learn kindness an empathy toward others. Interaction with peers inside and outside the classroom help children learn how to share and get along with each other. Good manners and good citizenship are modeled, taught, and encouraged. | | 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th GRADES-->The first through fourth grade programs provide a well ronded educational program of studies, including reading/language arts, math, health, science, social studies, spelling, computer, music, religion, fine arts, Spanish and theater arts. Promoting the intellectual, physical, spiritual, emotional, and social development of each child is the goal. Through an established curriculum taught by a loving, Christian, qualified teacher & assistant, the children are assured of receiving an excellent developmentally appropriate education. |

As We Are Fed … We Feed Others
Food - Approximately 200 families per month receive food assistance through Brenham’s Faith Mission. The food is purchased from the area Food Bank or received through local donations (from churches and others.)
St. Paul’s members can increase their support of this vital ministry by bringing canned goods to worship each Sunday that we are fed at Holy Communion. Place these donations in the basket provided in the narthex. Children will bring the basket to the altar at the offering that prayers of blessing might be spoken over these gifts.
